On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sudan, a team of Chinese photographers from the China Photographers Association visited Sudan from September 11 to 19, 2019.

The team visited a wide range of natural and cultural attractions and landmark projects constructed with China’s assistance in Sudan, ranging from the miniature pyramids, the confluence of the Bule Nile and the White Nile, Mahdi’s tomb, the Sudan National Museum to the Friendship Hall and the Upper Atbara Hydro Junction. They also explored and experienced local conditions and customs in local Sudanese families, visited the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Sudan, and did an exchange with the Sudanese Photographers Association. The team’s visit achieved full success.

The team of Chinese photographers from the China Photographers Association is made up of three members that are Gu Yongwei, the Director of China Photographers Association and President of Shandong Photographers Association, Shi Xingliang, President of Guangxi Photographers Association, and Li Chunhua, Vice President of Yunnan Photographers Association.
