In order to improve the Chinese visa application services, the Chinese Embassy in Sudan will start to host the newly developed online application form submission at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn and appointment booking system at https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn from 1st August 2020. Applicants will be required to fill their online application forms and pre-book appointment time slots.

     From 1st Aug 2020 to 31st Aug 2020, applicants can still use the existing physical paper application forms of version 2013. Starting from 1st Sep 2020, all applications will have to be submitted through the online application system, the Chinese Embassy in Sudan will cease to accept applications forms of version 2013.

     For diplomatic, service or courtesy visa applicants, it is not required to pre-book application appointments. The applicants will only need to complete the online application forms through https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn, then proceed to submit hard copies at the Chinese Embassy in Sudan.

     The Embassy would like to remind that during the COVID-19 period, the Embassy only accepts visa applications for necessary economic, trade, sci-tech activities, and urgent humanitarian needs. If you have already obtained the Formal Invitation Letter issued by the provincial Foreign Affairs Office or the competent commercial department, or the critical illness notice or death certificate of immediate family member, you can directly log on https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn to fill in the visa application form and make appointment accordingly.
