The Chinese Embassy in Sudan will resume application of student visa (study in China for more than 180 days). The requirements are updated as follow:
(1) Passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the information page of the passport;
(2) Visa application form and confirmation page. (Fill out the electronic application at http://cova.mfa.gov.cn , submit online, and print out the downloaded PDF form and sign both in the form and on the confirmation page);
(3) COVID-19 vaccination certificate. (Please contact the Embassy if the applicant is not qualified for vaccination due to health or other issues);
(4) JW 201 or JW202 form (original and photocopy);
(5) Letter of Admission issued by the university (original and photocopy);
(6) Certificate of consent to the applicant getting back to campus issued by the university.
starting from 00:00 on August 24, 2022 (Wednesday, Beijing Time), foreign students holding valid study residence permits do not need to apply for a new visa to China.
The Chinese Embassy receives visa applicants every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 12:30pm.
All travelers bound for China should adopt strict protective measures against Covid-19 before departure and while in journey. Travelers need to apply green health code before departure.
